Jeremy Goodson

Jeremy is an artist who mainly works with photography. He enjoys taking daily life as subject matter with a focus on the aesthetic of his native San Francisco Bay Area.

 

His photos are characterized by the use of everyday objects and street scenes. By capturing situations and new perspectives he creates unique moments created by fleeting photographic intuition, luring the viewer into his world of wondering the Bay Area streets.

 

His works are based on inspired situations; visions that reflect a sensation of cool reflection, combined with subtle details of odd or eccentric elements.

 

By applying abstraction, he often creates work using different rules then apply in everyday life, showing that even everyday objects and places can undergo an artistic transformation.

 

A self-trained photographer, Jeremy is inspired by the photographers of the 1960s and 70s and the visual language of the urban landscape.

 

Jeremy lives in Lafayette, Ca. with his wife and two children.
